Some things I do with my friend are scrap booking, science and digital photography; It’s cool! There is also tutoring for me so I can finish my homework. My favorite counselors are Natalie and Ryan. “I like KYDS because when I come the teachers make me feel welcomed, they help me with my homework and they explain whatever I don’t understand. When we have a problem in school or in doing our homework they encourage us to do it, or tell them our problem so that they can help. I like staying because they offer us many activities to choose from like: Martial Arts, computers, cooking, science, arts and crafts and much more.”

I like the KYDS program because we get a free snack and they are really fun. I learn a lot of new things like, making lanyards, recipes, experiments, and sports. It also keeps me out of trouble and helps me to be responsible about my actions.”

“I like staying in the KYDS program because I get to hang out with my friends, I get to make scrapbooks, and I get help on my homework. I like it a lot. My friends always make me laugh, especially after school. On my scrapbooks, we get to make things on holidays and sometimes we could make poems. I almost always need help on my homework and they check my answers so I won’t get a bad grade, and it makes me try my best.”

“I like staying after school because I like chatting with my friends. They make me feel like I am not alone. Whenever my friends aren’t staying, I feel really lonely. I don’t really like making friends with other older people because I feel like they won’t like me. I also like staying after school because I like doing my homework earlier. Whenever I do it at home, I don’t have enough time. I would have to stay up all night to finish it. When I do my homework after school, I have more time to have fun at home. I also like the snacks.”
